Seminary!

I moved in! It was a strange experience; the whole place is wicked quiet and empty-seeming, totally unlike a Umass move-in experience. Orientation will be intense. It starts at 8:00 in the morning tomorrow, and they feed us breakfast before then. At least they do feed us breakfast! I like breakfasts.

The room is really nice. It's a three-man suite: a common room, bathroom, single bedroom, double bedroom. I'm in the double, and my roomie is the equivalent of an RA for the hall. He's in his second year, and started seminary right after graduating from college, so that means we're the same age. It's pretty cool. He's also a gamer/computer nerd somewhat, which is familiar social territory for me. Good times. A lot of guys here, though, come here a few years after graduating from college, so the general age range is extended into the early 30's, making me young by comparison, which is a healthy change of pace for me. I'm about turn 24. Jeez, that's the mid-twenties. Moving on.
